The band Rolo Tomassi hails from Sheffield, England. They started in 2005 and quickly gained a following of fans who loved their experimental math rock and post-hardcore sound. The band members, Eva Spence, James Spence, Joe Nicholson, Chris Cayford and Nathan Fairweather, all came from different musical backgrounds, but found each other in their love for music that went off the beaten track. They started practicing in an old garage nearby and over time started performing in local clubs and bars. Their hard work was quickly noticed by music producers and they got the chance to record their first album. "Hysterics" became a hit with fans of experimental music and the band began touring Europe. With each album they released, the band grew in popularity. "Cosmology" and "Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It" both received critical acclaim and the band began to grow into a big name in the underground music scene.
